Project title:The effect of changing climate on potential Risks from IMportant insect PESTs on plant production in Austria and related adaptation options

RIMPEST will assess future risks from ten important insect pests present in Austria to key crops under changing climate. Objectives include to validate and improve pest models for Austrian conditions, to simulate and analyze pest trends under climate and crop scenarios and to address stakeholder oriented dissemination and exploitation.
The results will provide extended knowledge for short to long term adaptation options for crop pest management under future climate and cropping scenarios.
